Where do you find inspiration? As a photographer I try to look outside of my industry because I have a tendency to compare myself to others. Comparing myself to others has lead me in the wrong directions too many times. So now I look for inspiration in other things I love like illustrations, books and music. Here are the three things that are inspiring me right now: 1. Creative Pep Talk PodcastIf you have never heard of the Creative Pep Talk you are missing out. You should have a serious case of FOMO right this second. Andy J. Pizza is a one of kind spirit that knows a ton about how creatives work. He speaks my creative language and I love it! Here is a link to the lastest episode... www.creativepeptalk.com/episodes/289 2. Hello Fears by Michelle PolerI used to be so independent, but ever since I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis it changed the way I started to think. I am now more fearful than I have ever been (the pandemic doesn't help either). So I am reading this as a boost to get back to my independent confidence. Here's a link to her website if you are interested in her book and project. https://www.hellofears.com/ 3. The Mandalorian GalleryPlain and simple this is a behind scenes look into how they made the popular series. I am a sci fi nerd so this is right up my alley, plus I love the process of doing creative work more than I love the result.
If you haven't seen I highly recommend the series on Disney+.
