1. Yearly Slideshow.
Make a slideshow of of all your 2019 iPhone or Android photos. There are lots of apps for both types of phones that make slideshows. Some even let you add music! On Christmas Eve or Christmas Day snuggle up in your pajamas, project your phone to the TV and play the slideshow for your family. Seriously one of the best gifts ever!
2. Christmas Day Photo Booth.
Hosting Christmas this year? Start a fun new tradition by setting up a photo booth with props at your family get together. There are so many easy photo booth ideas on Pinterest, but I especially love this simple backdrop that is cute and super easy to make yourself.
3. Homemade Christmas Cards.
Lots of people send out Christmas cards each year of their family, but wouldn’t it be extra special to send out cards that are homemade by you and your family. An added bonus for the person receiving the card is to have it be picture of their family with yours. I think that would be a Christmas card worth keeping!
4. Christmas Morning Family Photo.
Before everyone starts ripping open presents grab your camera and get a family photo of everyone in their jammies. This is the perfect time for a picture because the whole family would be attentive and eager to do whatever you ask them so they can open gifts as soon as possible.
5. End of The Year Interviews.
Grab your kids and spouse and take individual portraits of them next to the tree (don’t forget to include yourself in this). Then ask them a few questions and write the answers down on a piece of paper. Print out the photos either at a photo center or on your printer at home. Stuff the photo and the interview answers into an envelope. Bring them out the next Christmas for sentimental look back to last Christmas. Even your kids will be surprised by their answers!
