Photographers Are Artists

Photographers are artists. Not sure why people don't think this anymore. Maybe it's the access to cameras now, maybe it's the overuse of filters on Instagram, maybe it's because people don't realize the amount of time and training it takes to become good. 

Like artists we have to learn composition, lighting, posing, staging, the equipment and so much more! We take pride in making things look beautiful and pleasing to the eye. We each have our own unique vision and style, just like any other artist.

So the next time you hire a photographer, remember that you are hiring an artist. That person took the time to create photos that you connected with providing value to your life in the form of joy!
