If your family is anything like mine, where they already have everything they could need, you’re stuck deciding what to give them for the holidays. This is when the power of sentiment comes in handy!
If my mom wants something she’s always been the person to go out and buy it for herself, so when the time comes around for gifts, it left me with nothing to give. I decided that a calendar or photo album or even a mug with family photos is probably the only thing left I could give, plus it would more meaning than any box store item I gave her. Guess what? They are always a hit! I even have had tears!
Here are the three things that I love giving my mom and other family members. (Note: These are not affiliate links.)
1. Refrigerator Magnets
Great as stocking stuffers or as a small gift to go with another bigger item. The magnets from Social Print Studio are made better than any others I have ordered with other printers. The ones I have ordered for my fridge of some landscapes have lasted at least 7 years. Social Print Studio is also by far one of my favorite printing studios for phone photography. You can order the magnets here.
2. Giant Photo Strips (feature above)
Another of my favorite products from Social Print Studio is the giant photo strip. It’s like a photo booth strip, but one you can hang on your wall and feature! These require high resolution photos, so make sure your phone photos are big enough and are high quality.
3. Photo Mugs
It’s hard to find good quality photo mugs, but if you have high resolution photos, Shutterfly does a great job. They also have fun designs that make the mug look less cheesy and more Crate and Barrel like. Their mugs are also super affordable, so you could get several for different people!
4. Wall Calendars
Shutterfly also makes wall calendars. My family still uses these, so I like to make a custom calendars. Shutterfly has lots of graphics, quotes and designs to choose from. So it makes designing a cute calendar super fun and easy!
5. Photo Books
Did you take a family vacation this year with grandparents or other family members? A great gift for the holidays for those family members is a photo book of your vacation. It’s unexpected and thoughtful! I bet there would be tears!
Have any other great ideas? Throw them my way I love to hear about cool new photo products!
